How to Rent Designer Sunglasses
At Discounted Sunglasses you’re able to rent a pair of sunglasses for a fraction of the cost of buying a pair. If you need a new pair for a wedding, holiday or festival, you no longer have to pay out large amounts for limited wear.
Here we’ve written a guide on how to rent designer sunglasses at Discounted Sunglasses. If you’re still a little unsure after reading this. Feel free to contact us and we’ll be more than happy to help.
Step 1: Find your fit
We have a range of brands, styles and colours to choose from in our rental sunglasses page. On this page, you can see all the sunglasses that are in our rental range. Simply shop these as you would as if you were buying. Here you will be taken to the product page to book your rental.
Step 2: It’s a Date
Every pair of rental sunglasses are able to be booked for 4 different peroid of times.
- 4 days, perfect for those long weekends.
- 10 days, ideal for that week away
- 16 days, enough time for a 2 week holiday companion.
- 30 days, long enough to last most, if not all, of the British summer time.
Many pairs are priced differently, so you can still find a pair that suits your budget, just like when buying at Discounted Sunglasses.
Use the “Start Date” button to select the length of time you would like to rent for, and your start date. Your “End Date” will automatically be chosen. Note, your rental period cannot end on Sundays as Post Offices are closed on this day and therefore you cannot return your product on that day.
We will always send your product out to arrive before your start date. The last day of your rental is the day you need to return your product back to us using the enclosed free returns label.
Step 3: Pay Day
The last thing to do is to pay for your rental. Your rental will always include a security deposit. We will only charge for your rental period and this amount will be taken from the payment method you choose.
There will always be a security deposit on an order. This is an amount we will have held against your payment method. This WILL NOT come out of your account when you place your rental. This deposit will only be taken if the product is not returned or is returned in a damaged state. We hope we never have to take this amount and will only do so when necessary.
Step 4: Special Delivery
Sit tight, and your order will arrive before your start date. Check them over and wear them like you own them.
Note that your sunglasses will come with a security tag on them. Check the product and make sure they fit you and suit you before removing this. Once removed, your rental period has started and we cannot offer any refunds from this point onwards.
Step 5: Return to Sender
When it comes to the end of your rental period, you will need to fix your free returns label to the box that it came in, put everything back into the box and send the sunglasses back to us. We’d appreciate you giving them a quick wipe with the microfiber cloth bag that we sent with your rental. You need to return your item on the last day of your rental period.
Step 6: Home Sweet Home
When the sunglasses return to us, the sunglasses go through our multi point check. During this we clean the sunglasses in an ultrasonic water bath to clean the sunglasses ready for the next person. We assess if there is any damage and make any suitable repairs.

Yes. Once you get the sunglasses, they will have a security tag on them. We suggest checking the sunglasses just incase they have been damaged in transit, and trying them on to make sure they fit and suit you. Once the tag is removed, we class this as you starting your rental period and we cannot issue any refunds from this point.
Yes. Just let us know you want to and we will sort the rest. We will remove the cost of your initial rental from the cost of the product. Therefore, we suggest you let us know you want to keep the sunglasses, as if you don’t we will charge you the full amount including your rental period.
Please be assured we will only charge the full deposit when the item is not returned or returned with significant damage.
